Hong Kong-based Tam Wing Kun Holdings, a leading GSA/GSSA in Asia and the Americas, has completed an extensive rebranding and will now be known as TAM Group.
The company has unveiled a redesigned logo, a revamped website and a refreshed company vision to align with a new period of growth for the organisation.
Founded in 1977, TAM Group now has 22 offices in 12 cities across Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, the Philippines, the US and Chile, becoming well renowned for its passenger and cargo services. Over the past year, the company has experienced 47 percent growth year-on-year, tallying over 150,000 tonnes tonnage with 4,000 flights handled.
It plans to open a new office in Brazil later this year, which will play a pivotal role in its expansion in South America. A joint venture in Bangkok, Thailand and Jakarta, Indonesia is also underway, the group said, which will enhance the group’s footprint in Southeast Asia.
TAM Group said it is now positioned for growth in several key markets over the next six months, particularly North and South America and ASEAN. The company has also completed its recruitment of several senior-level personnel in key markets, including Hong Kong, the US and Brazil.
According to TAM Group, the rebranding also represents a step toward a future with accelerated digitisation: “The ongoing global pandemic has sped up digitization, automation and the adoption of technology across all industries,” said Alvin Tam, VP, Commercial at TAM Group.
“Airlines prefer a partner that can adapt quickly… We are seizing the opportunity to enhance our digital presence and are rolling out various technological enhancements to meet the needs of our airline partners.”
The new company name, Tam Group, honours the legacy of founder, Dr. Tam Wing Kun, BBS, MBE, JP, and his entrepreneurial spirit while signifying a new chapter of growth. The logo communicates a global connectedness that is key to the company’s mission of providing integrated services to its clients worldwide.
