Etihad Cargo has offered additional capacity on direct freighter service to Shanghai starting 2 February 2023,

The additional weekly Abu Dhabi–Shanghai freighter flight brings the total number of dedicated cargo flights to eight per week with 850 tonnes of capacity. Passenger flights are expected to scale up to five each week.

China is a key market for Etihad. The carrier added 2 weekly freighter services between Shanghai and Abu Dhabi in 2022. It plans to continue evaluating its network and add frequencies to the Chinese market in line with customer demand.
