Dachser is expanding its air and sea logistics (ASL) network in Australia as it acquired Melbourne-headquartered air and sea freight forwarder ACA International.
Founded in 1982, the privately owned company has two additional offices in Australia, Sydney and Brisbane,as well as offices in Auckland, Wellington, and Hamilton in New Zealand.
It’s also present in the US with a branch office in Kansas City, as well as in China, but Chinese locations are not part of the acquisition, Dachser noted.
Over the past 14 years, ACA International has been led by air and sea freight logistics specialists Adam Cruttenden, Glenn Hall, Mark Weeks and Hervey Graham. The company now employs 56 people and generated EUR 75 million in revenue in 2021. Cruttenden will be taking on the role of Managing Director ASL Oceania for Dachser.
