Kale Logistics Solutions is accelerating its mission of connecting supply chains and helping facilitate global trade as it raised USD 30 million in a series B funding round led by private equity fund Creaegis Advisors LLP.
The funding will be used for scaling up and deploying the company’s cargo community systems with expansion plans into key markets like North America and Europe.
The Indian company has been a pioneer in developing software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for ports and air hubs and now counts key clients in over 36 countries. It has also been involved in designing digital trade platforms built on the sustainability and data harmonisation goals being promoted by trade bodies like the United Nations, IMO, IATA, ICAO, WTO and FIATA.
Kale said its cloud-native integrated platforms and ERP solutions can significantly reduce the complexities involved in cargo transport as well as the allied processes at airports and seaports, enabling real-time collaboration and end-to-end visibility of every process and shipment.
The series B funding round was exclusively advised by Cilix Capital and this is the second fundraising that involved an external investor, noted Kale. The company had earlier raised a Series A investment from Inflexor Ventures in 2020, led by marquee founding angels Narendra Kale and Vipul Jain.
