Nippon Express Europe recently revealed that it submitted a letter of commitment to obtain Science Based Targets (SBT) certification in May 2023. 

The company is in pursuit of reducing its CO₂ emissions by 50 percent by 2030 as compared to 2013, at least for Scope 1 and 2. And now it is another step closer to achieving its sustainability in collaboration with Climate Tech startup, Cozero, based in Berlin. 

Cozero’s solution considers both logistical and non-logistical emissions, which supports the forecasting and planning of decarbonization efforts.    

Climate Action Platform Climate Action Platform has been implemented at 30 European locations wtihin a few weeks, for reporting Scope-1, Scope-2, and Scope-3 emissions. 

This allows NX Europe to be able to implement customized local reduction strategies in alignment with SBT.
