Qatar Airways has appointed Mark Drusch as the carrier’s newest cargo chief.
A well-known figure in the aviation industry, particularly on the passenger side, Mark has over 25 years of experience in senior management roles.
He was most recently the airline’s SVP for revenue management, alliances and strategy. Prior to joining Qatar Airways, Mark spent 20 years at Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines and Lufthansa LSG Sky Chefs as senior vice president where he led the transformation in commercial airline strategy execution, revenue management, network planning and alliances. He was also CEO and co-founder of online panel research and advertising platforms, e-Rewards and e-Miles.
Drusch will be in charge of overseeing Qatar’s cargo operations with a freighter fleet that includes one B747-8F, two B747-400Fs, 27 Boeing 777Fs and one Airbus A310 freighter, complemented by an extensive road feeder service (RFS) network.
