DHL Express announces new managing director for Thailand and Head of Indo China

May 6, 2026 by PLA Editor

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has appointed Parichart Pramukkul as the new Managing Director for Thailand and Head of Indo China. Parichart, who previously served as Vice President, Commercial for DHL Express Thailand, started her new role on May 1, 2026. She will continue to be based in Bangkok.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience at DHL Express in Thailand, Parichart brings to the table deep expertise spanning commercial strategy, marketing, sales, pricing, product, and customer experience. Before taking on her role as Vice President for Commercial, she was responsible for strengthening DHL’s premium brand positioning in Thailand, delivering multiple industry recognitions, as the Marketing Director for DHL Express Thailand and Indo China.

“Parichart has an exceptional track record with DHL Express over the last 20 years, and her appointment as the new Managing Director for Thailand and Head of Indo China speaks volumes about the talent and opportunities we have within DHL. She is a strategic and commercially astute leader, and we look forward to supporting her in continuing to build high-performing teams in Thailand to deliver sustainable growth,” said Ken Lee, CEO for Asia Pacific, DHL Express.

Building on the previous trajectory, Parichart will continue to cement DHL Express’s strong position in Thailand. With more than 60% market share, she will identify new sectors and trade lanes to strengthen DHL’s market share in the country, especially in new solutions such as Heavyweight Express. To help boost Thailand’s trade competitiveness and SME growth, she will also continue building on effective partnerships with key national stakeholders and drive close cross-business unit collaboration, strengthening DHL’s integrated logistics solutions to better support customers across Thailand and Indo-China.

“In DHL’s latest Global Connectedness Report, Thailand is ranked 27th, rising seven places since 2019. This is a clear indication that there are strong opportunities for businesses in Thailand, with significant potential for Thai companies to expand globally. I am very excited to be given the opportunity to lead a business that I have been a part of for the past 20 years, and to continue building future-ready people and capabilities that will enable our customers and our organisation to thrive in an increasingly connected and fast-changing world,” said Parichart Pramukkul, Managing Director, Thailand and Head of Indo China, DHL Express.

The latest DHL Global Connectedness Report also shows Thailand stands out for an unusually high level of global connectedness relative to other countries with similar per-capita incomes. Thailand, neighbouring Malaysia and Vietnam, are the three countries with the highest global connectedness scores among countries in the middle-third of the global per-capita income distribution.

It also shows that Southeast Asia is firmly establishing itself as a fast‑growing trade corridor and mirrors one of DHL Group’s strategies to better support 20 markets globally to accelerate growth with eight of them in Asia Pacific, including Thailand.
