ST Engineering wins Hebei Airlines CFM56-7B engine PRSV agreement

ST Engineering announced that its Commercial Aerospace business has secured a two-year exclusive agreement with Hebei Airlines to provide Performance Restoration Shop Visit (PRSV) services for CFM56-7B engines starting in September 2026.

Under the agreement, ST Engineering will perform PRSV work on the CFM56-7B engines used on Hebei Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 fleet at its aerospace facility in Xiamen, China. The Xiamen facility specialises in engine and nacelle MRO services, with established capabilities supporting the CFM56-7B and CFM56-5B engines.

The agreement also underscores the strong demand for CFM56 engine maintenance, as airlines continue to rely on CFM56 engines to support narrowbody operations amid high fleet utilisation and slower engine retirements. With CFM56 capabilities in Singapore and China, ST Engineering is well equipped to meet ongoing demand and capture opportunities in CFM56 maintenance, as it concurrently grows its capabilities and capacity for the next-generation LEAP engines.
