The fuel surcharge is fixed for a three month period and revised on the basis of the average price of jet fuel for the three months immediately preceding the month of application for the revision.
For the three month period from August to October 2008, Singapore kerosene – as reported by the US Department of Energy – fell to an average of US$115.92 per barrel. ANA said it was “pleased to pass on the benefit of that fall to its valued customers”.
