Air France-KLM said cargo Traffic for the month of September rose 4.4 per cent with a 3.0 per cent rise in capacity. The load factor rose 0.9 point to 67.4 per cent with the gain in cargo Traffic driven by Asian, African and Middle East routes.
A 5.3 per cent year-on-year rise in passenger Traffic in September fell short of a 5.9 per cent rise in capacity, resulting in the load factor easing 0.5 point to 82 per cent.
The group’s European network saw Traffic up 2.5 per cent as capacity rose 2.7 per cent resulting in a load factor of nearly 75 per cent.
Americas Traffic rose 9.2 per cent with a 12.3 per cent rise in capacity. The load factor fell 2.4 points to 84.9 per cent.
Traffic and capacity on African and Middle Eastern routes were unchanged, with the load factor up 0.1 point to 80.8 per cent.
