The US Dept. of Transportation yesterdayawarded coveted new China routeauthorities to all six US legacy carriers.Two of the route awards, going to Delta Air Lines and United Airlines for servicethat can begin on 30 March 2008, are “fi nal decisions,” DOT said. Four additionalroutes, on which service can beginin 2009, are “proposed” and will likelybecome fi nal “in the near future.”
