Menzies Aviation has been awarded two contracts by Aer Lingus, one covering cargo handling at all seven of the US airports to which the carrier operates, and one for cargo handling at Prague’s Ruzyne Airport.
Menzies currently handles the airline’s cargo requirements at London Heathrow. The contracts will commence on a rolling basis starting from July at New York JFK, Boston Logan International (BOS), Washington Dulles International, Orlando International, Los Angeles LAX, Chicago O’Hare International and San Francisco International.
Three of these airports will be new routes for Aer Lingus, with Washington commencing in August, and San Francisco and Orlando commencing October 2007.
Aer Lingus currently fl ies to more than seventy destinations across Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US and Middle East, with another ten new routes for 2007.
