Commencing on 25 October 2015, Taiwan’s China Airlines will operate three weekly flights from Taipei‘s Taoyuan International Airport to Melbourne and then continue across the Tasman Sea to New Zealand’s Christchurch using A330-300 aircraft.
Operating on a seasonal basis until 26 March 2016, this route will complement China Airlines’ existing Taipei-Sydney-Christchurch service, which launched in December 2014 and also operates three times a week.
Combined with the airline’s eight weekly flights from Taipei to Auckland, via Sydney or Brisbane, China Airlines will operate a total of 14 flights per week to Australia and New Zealand this winter.
