Boeing and Kuwait Airways have finalised an order for 10 777-300ERs, valued at US$3.3 billion at list prices. The airline originally announced its intent to order the 777-300ER in November.  

“Kuwait Airways has plans to renew its fleet as well as expand its operations and the 777-300ER is a perfect aircraft for our strategy,” said Rasha Al Roumi, Kuwait Airways CEO. “The aircraft has already validated its position in terms of high reliability, low operating costs and fuel efficiency. We are looking forward to having the 777-300ER join our fleet.”
