Cargo traffic at Dusseldorf is outshining the previous year’s record performance with February, a normally flat month, showing an  impressive  5.5 per cent increase over 2013, according to the airport.

 “Looking at the first month of the second quarter (April) the prospects look promising. Volumes have increased by +14.6 per cent over April 2013, which is mainly driven by the inauguration of summer flight schedules,” said Thomas Schürmann, marketing and sales manager at Düsseldorf Airport.
