French logistics giant Geodis has announced a major extension to its hub in Evry Lisses, in the southern suburbs of Paris, under an agreement with logistics property developer ProLogis.
The extension, of close to 30,000sq metres, will take the size of Geodis’s hub at the site to 100,000sq metres in what it said will allow it to better meet the requirements of its customers in the FMCG retail and hi-tech sectors. The extension is scheduled for
completion in 2013 and associated modernisation work is also planned on the existing space occupied by Geodis at the site.
“Geodis anticipates new contracts to be carried out at this location which will become a strategic hub in the Greater Paris region,” said Geodis MD Jean-Louis Demeulenaere.
