The Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has ordered two 737-400SF 11-pallet configuration passenger-to-freighter conversions from Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI). The first aircraft was built in 1991 and is currently undergoing freighter modification and maintenance. The second is expected to be inducted for conversion by year-end. Robert Convey, vice-president sales and marketing for Aeronautical Engineers, said: “We are seeing an overwhelming response to [this] new…configuration, which was launched only a few short months ago. The first ACG aircraft has been leased to Varig Log and is scheduled to enter service in Brazil following conversion. This will be the first 737-400SF aircraft registered and operated in Brazil.â€Â
