US-based FastShip, Inc., in partnership with industry consultants Triangle Management Services, has issued an open invitation to bid on cargo capacity on a planned new cargo service between the ports of Philadelphia and Cherbourg in France. Cargo B Airlines, a new all cargo airline based at Brussels Airport, said it plans to operate from the Belgian capital all-cargo flights serving major markets around the world such as the Middle and Far East, Africa and South America. Lufthansa Cargo has announced it has set up a company to provide freight handling services for itself as well as for airfreight forwarders.
