Asia-Pacific airports see flat-lined cargo growth
Air freight continued to be impacted by slowdown across Asian export markets and oil producing economies, according to Airports Council International (ACI), with July freight volumes flat in Asia-Pacific with zero per cent growth and the Middle East recording a decrease of -0.9 per cent. Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and China Southern Cargo have signed an expansive cargo domain agreement aimed giving each other access to their respective complementary networks. Engine fire forces BA 777 to abort take off
A British Airways aircraft engine caught fire in Las Vegas as it was about to take off for London, Gatwick Tuesday night (US west coast time), forcing all 172 passengers and crew to escape down emergency slides as smoke and flames engulfed the aircraft.
