Hong Kong sees flat cargo traffic in first half
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) handled 2.1 million tonnes of cargo for the first half of 2015, up 0.6 per cent from the same period last year. Throughput for the first half of the year was affected by a drop in exports but is expected to consolidate for the rest of the year, the Hong Kong Airport Authority said. Changi Aiport, Xiamen Airlines sign MoU
Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Xiamen Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly collaborate on initiatives to grow connectivity and traffic between Singapore and China. Air freight movement at Asia-Pacific and Middle East airports continued to be impacted by weak economic growth in Europe and slowdown across Asian export markets in May, according to Airports Council International (ACI).
