Hong Kong air cargo up over 10 percent in November
Hong Kong International Airport's cargo throughput recorded a year-on-year increase of 10.1 percent to 478,000 tonnes in November as the airport handled 120,000 passengers and 14,875 flight movements during the month, marking increases of 48.1% and 18.4% respectively. HKIA’s cargo volume dips 4.4 percent in September
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) reported a slide in cargo volume for September despite uptick in imports and exports as capacity remains constrained. The world’s busiest air cargo hub saw freighter movements improve from last month’s 21.5 percent, up 25 percent compared to the same month last year. Significant growth for HKIA in first half of 2017
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) recorded growth in all three air traffic categories in the first half of 2017, highlighted by significant growth in cargo throughput.
