Press release Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) released Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKIA) traffic statistics for April 2021. During the month, cargo throughput saw a year-on-year increase of 15.5 percent to 389,000 tonnes. HKIA handled 60,000 passengers and 10,375 flights, marking year-on-year increases of 89.0 percent and 9.9 percent, respectively. Hong Kong’s cargo volume saw a year-on-year increase of 4.9 percent to 397,000 tonnes in March, according to the latest statistics from Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA). Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) last week released the traffic figures of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for February 2021. During the month, cargo throughput was 310,000 tonnes, up 23.3 percent year-on-year increase, whilst freighter movements surged 36.8 percent to 4,615, from the 3,374 recorded during the same month last year.
