Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) published the Annual Report 2025/26 for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2026. Passenger traffic at HKIA records double-digit growth in May
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) saw steady growth of air traffic in May. During the month, HKIA handled 5.34 million passengers and 33,655 flight movements, representing year-on-year growth of 10.2% and 3.6% respectively. Cargo volume increased to 435,000 tonnes with a 3.0% year-on-year growth during the month. Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) saw steady growth of air traffic in April. During the month, HKIA handled 5.67 million passengers and 34,445 flight movements, representing year-on-year growth of 9.4% and 5.5% respectively.
