Munich Airport announces half-year results 2020

After years of continuous traffic growth, the global spread of the coronavirus has caused passenger numbers at Munich Airport to drop again for the first time: Passenger volume fell by around 15 million to just under 7.8 million in the first half of 2020 – a reduction of two-thirds compared to the previous year’s level. Asia-Pacific ekes out 1.4% cargo growth in May

Airports in the Asia-Pacific region reported marginal increases in total air freight of +1.4 per cent in May 2016 whereas the Middle East reported moderate growth at +3.3 per cent. Terror warning puts Indian airports on high alert

India airports across the country were placed on high alert after the country's Bureau of Civil Aviation received an e-mail warning that on 6 December, terror groups might strike at airports located on coast of the western Gujarat state.
