In August, the airport welcomed more than 2.5 million travellers, up 1.3% from the same period last year. Brussels Airport and Safran, a global leader in the aerospace industry, launched the construction of a more than 15,000 m² extension at the Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels site, which was inaugurated in 2024.
