TIACA welcomes WCO’s adoption of SAFE updates
The Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has welcomed the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Council’s adoption of important updates to its SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade. Qatar to go double-daily Doha-Manila
Qatar Airways will be adding six extra flights per week between Doha and Manila starting from 26 October following an expanded Air Service Agreement signed between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Philippines. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has approved an air operator’s certificate for Ningxia Cargo Airlines, which is to become the first cargo carrier to be based in the west of the country, the Ningxia Autonomous Region. China will build "model airport economic zones" in pilot cities, the country's aviation watchdog has announced according to Xinhua. The move is aimed at supporting the development of airports, a new engine for regional growth and industrial upgrading, according to a statement from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
