Cargo growth has “come off the boil”: IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that growth continued to slow in May. Compared to May 2014, growth in freight tonne kilometers (FTK) was 2.1 per cent, the slowest rate this year and outpaced by a capacity expansion of 4.3 per cent. Cargolux adds Turkmenbashi to its network
Cargolux has begun operating four weekly flights to Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan - two from Luxembourg and two from Hong Kong from 29 June. Turkmenbashi becomes Cargolux’s fifth destination in Central Asia, together with Baku, Novosibirsk, Almaty and Tbilisi. Lufthansa, ANA extend JV Europe to Japan

Vietnam to build mega airport in HCM
Vietnamese National Assembly has approved the construction of a new US$16 billion international airport by 2025 to relieve the load on Tan Son Nhat airport.
