Tigerair Taiwan has received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) to be the first low-cost carrier (LCC) to launch operations in Taiwan. ACI Asia-Pacific has reported that worldwide freight volumes continue to show signs of strong recovery with improvements in global trade and commerce. Freight upswing for Qatar’s HIA
Cargo numbers have increased at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (HIA), with an additional 12.76 per cent traffic in July. All cargo operations are now operating out of the new airport where the facility is fully automated, creating a seamless experience for both the cargo agents and customers. Gulf Air to launch Kuwait-Istanbul services
Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which currently serves 38 destinations from Bahrain International Airport, has announced that it will run twice weekly services between Kuwait City and the Turkish city of Istanbul, starting from 2 October 2014.
