Qatar Airways has added a second daily, non-stop flight along its popular John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) - Hamad International Airport (DOH) route. The new route features the new A350 and the flight represents the tenth Qatar Airways route between Doha and the United States. Alaska Air Group has snapped up California-based Virgin America for US$4 billion. Brussels Airport is gradually regaining its footing with flights gradually increasing, nearly two weeks after suicide bombers blew themselves up in its departure hall, killing 16 people and injuring dozens. Based on reports from 1,144 airports worldwide, Airport Council International's (ACI) preliminary traffic results for world airports in 2015 reveals that the world's largest air cargo hub continued to be Hong Kong (HKG, +0.4 per cent) with Memphis (MEM, +0.8 per cent) in the second spot followed by Shanghai's PVG (+2.9 per cent).
