DHL Express expects ‘extraordinary’ peak volume in Asia Pacific
DHL Express says its global network can expect more than 50 percent increase in volumes during the 2020 peak season, compared to 2019. In Asia this number swings in the 30 to 40 percent range. Alibaba’s Cainiao to boost air charter operation ahead of Double 11
Alibaba is ramping up for deliveries and the company’s logistics arm Cainiao Network has lined up initiatives for the upcoming 11.11 (Double Eleven) shopping event. FedEx Express to open US$30 million Clark facility in April
Logistics provider FedEx Express on 6 October revealed its newest gateway facility in Clark, Philippines, north of Manila, which is valued over US$30 million and scheduled to open in April next year. The 17,000-square-meter facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, is expected to speed up sorting capabilities to 9,000 documents and parcels per hour.
