Santiago-based LATAM Airlines Group narrowed its year-on-year net loss for 2014 to US$109.8 million from $281.1 million in 2013, drawn on this year's revenues of US$3.04 billion, which fell 1.7 per cent. Alibaba to begin S.Korean logistics service
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group has announced that it will branch out its logistics services to South Korea this year through its subsidiary Cainiao Network, reports tech news portal Sina. According to South Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo, Alipay, the third-party online payment service under Alibaba, had held a promotional event on 11 March in Seoul, introducing its service with Cainiao Network. KLM postpones 787 deliveries, new routes
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has postponed the delivery of two B787-9s as pressure mounts on the Dutch carrier to enhance its fiscal discipline through cuts in spending. Bloomberg news quotes KLM spokesman Robbert Veldhuizen as saying that while two of the carrier's 10 B787-9s on order from Boeing have been delayed, the delivery of the first remains on track for the last quarter of the year. Scoot increases Bangkok frequency, capacity
