IAG Cargo will begin cargo services with its new B787-9 Dreamliner this October, five times weekly on the London Heathrow-Delhi route. Europe’s Brussels Airlines Cargo has appointed Air Logistics Group (ALG) as its new global GSSA with effect from 1 September, replacing European Cargo Services (ECS). The airline says that last year, its cargo traffic grew 34 per cent on north Atlantic routes and in the past five years the cargo division has seen double digit growth network-wide. Emirates has announced its second daily service from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The new service which began on 7 July and is operated by a B777-200LR supplements the current B777-300ER flight. Qatar Airways will be adding six extra flights per week between Doha and Manila starting from 26 October following an expanded Air Service Agreement signed between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Philippines.
