Logistics elevates Panalpina’s Q1 profit
International freight forwarding and logistics company Panalpina increased its operating result and profit in the first quarter of 2015. Consolidated profit increased 10 per cent to CHF 19.6 million while EBIT increased 3 per cent (adjusted at constant currency rates: +12 per cent) to CHF 25.3 million, helped by a positive quarter in logistics. Volga-Dnepr Airlines has validated the first seven airports in compliance with European Commission aviation security regulations for cargo operating into the EU from non-EU countries. Emirates SkyCargo is set to expand its US cargo network to 11 destinations, when the airline launches a daily service to Orlando, Florida from 1st September 2015. IAG opens constant climate stations in Ecuador
