Tonnage up at PACTL
Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal (PACTL) has achieved year-on-year tonnage growth of 20.31 per cent, reaching a total of 134,322 tonnes of freight in September. Overall, the cargo terminal saw tonnage rise by 16.55 per cent to 1,078,811 tonnes in the first three quarters of 2014. AA, US Airways cargo divisions are now combined
The cargo divisions of American Airlines and US Airways have officially combined under a single air waybill. The new entity brings in more than US$800 million each year and moves more than one billion pounds of freight and mail annually. QR’s first A350 completes maiden test flight
The first customer A350-900 which will be delivered to Qatar Airways has successfully completed its maiden flight. The flight was the first time an A350 XWB configured for a customer has taken to the sky. Following the successful flight, Qatar’s A350 XWB will continue its production phase before delivery.
