Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) will handle some 18,000 tonnes of cargo a year for Air China at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport after its agreement with the airline was extended to include new freighter flights. Swissport awarded BA contract at Frankfurt
Swissport International has been awarded a new three-year contract to provide cargo handling for British Airways at Frankfurt Airport. Frankfurt is one of the world’s biggest cargo hubs, and the new agreement is likely to cover an annual volume of over 50,000 tonnes. February demand still strong: IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that February 2010 international scheduled air traffic showed continued strengthening of demand. Compared to February 2009, cargo demand grew 26.5 per cent while passenger demand was up 9.5 per cent.
