Private equity firm LBO France has agreed to sell its ownership of ground handling company Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to Platinum Equity – a specialist merger, acquisition and operation (M&A&O) company - for an undisclosed sum. Virgin Atlantic Cargo has awarded a cargo handing contract to dnata in Australia covering Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane airports. Pteris bags Eastern Air cargo handling contract
Pteris Global, which develops baggage and cargo handling systems for airports, has clinched a contract worth RMB71 million (US$15.4 million) from Eastern Air Logistic Co. Ltd to install a cargo system at Shanghai Pudong International Airport’s west cargo area. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
