Macau’s air cargo exports grew significantly by 60 per cent year-on-year to 7,592 tonnes in the first quarter of 2010, according to the figures released by the city’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). PHILIPPINES: Three die in Philippines Antonov crash
A cargo plane crashed last month in a rural village in Pampanga province of the Philippines, killing three. A bulletin from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said the cargo plane had six passengers of which two Russians and a Bulgarian were killed. Three other passengers and three crew survived. HONG KONG: Hactl’s April throughput surges 42%
Air cargo throughput at Hong Kong’s main cargo terminal - Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl) - rose 41.9 per cent in April from a year earlier. A total of 10,080 tonnes of air cargo were handled on 23 April alone, the highest daily tonnage throughput Hactl ever handled, the company said in a statement. JAPAN: ANA sinks to US$616 million loss
