Airbus parent company EADS is backing algae as the best source of sustainable jet fuel, arguing that other feedstocks will not allow the airline industry to meet its carbon-footprint reduction goals. Kerry Logistics has opened the first phase of its new logistics centre in Danang in Central Vietnam. The facility will provide a total of 9,000 sq m of space when completed in the second half of 2010.
