Full year 2009 results for DB Schenker Logistics - a division of state-owned German rail and logistics group Deutsche Bahn, saw revenue down by 23.4 per cent to €11.3 billion while EBIT fell by 49 per cent to €199 milloin. For the entire group, revenue fell to €29.3 billion, a drop of 12 per cent compared to 2008. EBIT, adjusted for exceptionals, fell by 32 per cent to €1.68 billion. French logistics provider Geodis has acquired small parcel express carrier Ciblex. The move expands the range of services Geodis provides through a company that has grown with the explosion of e-commerce.
