Singapore governmentowned investment company, Temasek has taken a 27.74 percent equity stake in First Flight, a courier and express delivery company based in Mumbai, India. The deal is reported to be valued at Rs 107.5 crore. The funds raised by the transaction would enable First Flight to expand its aviation and warehousing businesses. INDONESIA: Garuda mulls relaunch of int'l routes
Indonesia's flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia, is considering reopening routes to Amsterdam and Nagoya, in Japan and starting a new service to India next year, The Jakarta Post reported quoting a company spokesman."We terminated our service to Amsterdam at the end of 2004 because it wasn't competitive and was losing money. HONG KONG: Goodrich to supply CX freighters' cargo systems
Goodrich Corp said it has been selected by Cathay Pacifi c Airways to provide advanced cargo systems for the Hong Kong carrier’s new fl eet of Boeing 747-400ERF freighters. The systems are designed to reduce overall downtime when system maintenance work is required, Charlotte-based Goodrich said in a statement.
