CEVA Logistics is strengthening its presence across Central Asia and will open a new office in Kazakhstan to serve clients across the region, including Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. 

From the headquarters in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest metropolis, the freight forwarder will offer a full range of multimodal services, including air, ocean and road solutions. 

CEVA Logistics is banking on the country’s well-developed railway network to facilitate a number of optimal transport alternatives, such as block trains from China to Europe and TransCaspian delivery from China to Turkey. 

Aside from Kazakhstan’s role as a staging point between China and Europe, Almaty (ALA) serves as an air gateway to a number of other Central Asian markets and CEVA Logistics said it will operate an office at the international airport. 

CEVA Logistics’ team will serve a wide range of industries and handle export commodities, such as mineral fuels, iron, steel, copper, oil seeds and frozen meat. And they will to report country manager, Arman Kuzhanov.

Kazakhstan is at the heart of that development and we are delighted to be opening our own CEVA Logistics’ offices there to provide locally-based service to customers with a wide range of requirements. Our ambition for this region does not stop there and we are already looking at opening other offices in this region in the coming months,” says regional head Bruno Plantaz.
