Abu Dhabi airport sees 6.7% rise in October cargo trafficThe Abu Dhabi International Airport recorded a rise in cargo volumes by 6.7 per cent year-on-year during the month of October to reach 73,649 metric tonnes, but cargo volumes during the first 10 months of the year were down 4.0 per cent to 662,549 metric tonnes. Etihad to end SAmerican pax flights from March 2017
Etihad Airways has confirmed it will be discontinuing flights between Abu Dhabi Int'l and São Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil with effect from 26 March next year. In a statement Etihad said that the route - its only scheduled service to South America - had been severely affected by the Brazilian economic downturn, as well as a weakening Real.
