Logistics operators in Thailand have warned that operating costs will soar 80 percent if cargo handling is to be duplicated across two airports with the reopening of Bangkok¡¯s Don Muang Airport. Gulf Air is ordering nine new wide-bodied aircraft to boost its cargo capability. JAPAN: Kansai Airport planning to double cargo capacity
Kansai Airport said it will double the capacity of its air cargo terminal in plans made by the airport operating firm for the second phase of construction, The Yomiuri Shimbun reported.
