China Airlines has transferred ownership of a Boeing 747-400 freighter indirectly to its mainland China joint venture, Yangtze River Express Airlines via an unidentifi ed middle company, the Economic Daily News reported, without identifying its source. Philippine Airlines will acquire six wide-bodied Boeing aircraft for US$1 billion which would be delivered between2009 and 2011.
