China Airlines has transferred ownership of a Boeing 747-400 freighter indirectly to its mainland China joint venture, Yangtze River Express Airlines via an unidentifi ed middle company, the Economic Daily News reported, without identifying its source. The freighter, which is now registered under Yangtze River Express, will serve the China joint venture’s Europe/US routes, the paper said. Yangtze River Express plans to bring in two more 747-400 freighters to expand its fl eet in 2008, the report added.
