Kerry Logistics rolls out e-trucks in Hong Kong
Kerry Logistics Network has started deploying 5.5-tonne electric trucks (‘e-trucks’) in Hong Kong this month as part of its green initiative to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Cathay to resume long-haul cargo routes next month
Cathay Pacific is looking to resume long-haul freighter destinations in Europe and the Americas starting June as Hong Kong’s travel restrictions and quarantine requirements continue to affect its business. In April, the airline carried 92,361 tonnes of cargo last month, up 26.3 percent compared to April 2021, but down 43.6 percent decrease compared with the same period in 2019. Singapore Airlines’s low-cost carrier Scoot has named Leslie Thng as its incoming CEO effective 16 June 2022. Thng, who has been with the SIA Group for 23 years, was the CEO of Indian airline Vistara, a SIA-Tata Sons joint venture, between October 2017 and December 2021. MRO services provider FL Technics has signed a contract with B&H Worldwide to manage its aircraft parts storage in Germany, expanding its longstanding partnership in both the UK and Singapore. GSA Kales to sell China-bound cargo capacity for Cainiao
Dutch cargo sales agent Kales Group has signed a deal on 1 May to sell the space on China-bound international cargo flights operated for Alibaba logistics unit Cainiao.
