Cathay Pacific introduces cargo flights to Riyadh
Cathay Pacific Cargo is launching a new scheduled freighter service between Hong Kong and Riyadh (RUH) starting 5 January 2021, to meet strong demand for shipments of e-commerce and other general cargo such as garments, the carrier said. Qatar Airways scores three new B777 freighters
Qatar Airways Cargo took delivery of three brand new B-777Fs on New Year’s day, as it now counts 30 freighters in its fleet, including two B-747s, 24 B-777s and four A330 freighters. The air cargo carrier will operate these freighters on its long-haul scheduled routes and as cargo charters amidst the mammoth task of delivering vaccines. Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates airlines, successfully flew a cargo charter flight to transport a 22-tonne shipment carrying parts of a Brazilian satellite from Sao Jose dos Campos in Brazil to Chennai in India.
