Emirates SkyCargo has started using its Airbus A380 aircraft on select cargo-only charter operations, with the first of so-called ‘mini-freighter’ flights successfully transporting medical supplies between Seoul and Amsterdam via Dubai. Qatar Airways takes three new A350-1000s as A380s remain grounded
Qatar Airways has taken delivery of three Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and is now the largest operator of Airbus A350 aircraft with 52 in its fleet. All three new A350-1000s will operate on “strategic” long-haul routes to Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe and should add more belly capacity, joining their forerunners and 30 Boeing 787s. ANA takes delivery of first Airbus A380
Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) has taken delivery of its first A380 at a special ceremony in Toulouse, becoming the 15th operator of the world’s largest passenger aircraft. The delivery ceremony was attended by ANA HOLDINGS President and CEO Shinya Katanozaka and hosted by Airbus CEO Tom Enders.
