Qatar Airways is said to be considering plans to cancel the entirety of its Boeing order owing to repeated 787 delays, according to a Dow Jones report. Vietnam Airlines announced at the Paris Air Show that it has placed a firm order with Airbus for 16 more single aisle A321s and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for two additional A350-900 XWBs. CHINA: Airbus delivers first A320 assembled in China
Airbus has delivered the first A320 aircraft assembled at its Final Assembly Line China (FALC) in Tianjin. The FALC is a joint venture between Airbus and a Chinese consortium comprising Tianjin Free Trade Zone (TJFTZ) and China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC). The aircraft was handed over by Airbus president and CEO, Tom Enders, to the chairman of Dragon Aviation Leasing, Li Hai.
