After the initial announcement of the first ever commitment for the Airbus A350 freighter at the Dubai airshow last week, the European manufacturer has secured another commitment from leading shipping and logistics player CMA CGM Group. Airbus targets Boeing cargo dominance with A350 freighter
Airbus said its board had backed plans for an A350 freighter to enter service in 2025 as it looks to take head on rival Boeing’s dominance in the air cargo market, Reuters reports. Cathay Pacific Airways and HK Express have signed contracts for Airbus’s Flight Hour Services (FHS) to provide support for their A320 fleet.
